He's saying you get what you pay for. Don't expect a $130 header to fit like or perform like a $400 header. Also the quality of these are going to be nowhere close to a good header, there's always the saying that ebay headers get crack like a old whore....

if you look on the header thread someone said this header performs like shit.

the only thing about headers like that is how do you know what real gains you are getting?

ebay headers.....

There were some headers that the e46 m3 crowd was buying - I think they were $100 shipped or something.

I think they were seeing unbelievable gains from it too.

Function over form I guess - All depends on what you're looking for.

JDM Exhaust Header Honda Fit, Fit Sport 06 07 08 1.5L:eBay Motors (item 230352318365 end time Jul-02-09 15:31:15 PDT)

I'm looking at that one.

...looks to be about the same but a lot less cash. I've used eBay stuff as well as name brand stuff for years without any problems. The one thing I don't like about the "eBay stuff" is that people out there ARE going to buy them and use them....weather they get flamed or not...PERIOD. Thankfully this site isn't like Honda tech where the mention of eBay will get you stoned to death in the village square. The overall best plan is for those who DO buy them to post up their real unbiased experience afterwords.

Sean.

It depends... I've had SS Autochrome Headers on my 626 Chronos that gave 12Whp... Apprently they were a copy\paste of Hotshot Headers for that car... I had to delete EGR but i didn't mind!! :P

If i were to buy a header for my Fit on Ebay though, i would take a DC From Kuruma Motoring... I bought my Progress RSB and my Fujita SRI from them and service is top notch!!

The MINI Cooper S engine was actually designed by the same team responsible for the Neon SRT-4. It would seem this team is as competent as they are modest. Though only rated at 163 hp at the crank, our MINI cranks out 166 hp at the wheels.

The only thing i see from the picture is the tubes that seems to be unequal length... Equal length tubes will help each cylinder to do a more ''Equal Job''...

Anyway give us feedback as you said!
