I put the IK20's in this morning. First I would like to say that the gaping on the original Denso plugs that are long lasting and are bigger than the IK20 were not even close to being gapped right. All 4 of my old plugs were almost .50. When I bought my car 2 months ago I noticed that the exhaust had a slight uneven stumble to it but quickly forgot when i bought it
IK20 install
I had to gap the plugs because they were around .35 so I adjusted the gap to 44. I read on here about about aligning the spark plug in the direction of the intake so that the spark is not impeded by the actual spark plug arm. All 4 old plugs were not aligned to this and you could see a black soot mark where it the plug didnt have a burn to it. I marked my socket extension with a black mark put the spark plug in the socket aligned with the open side of the spark plug and the black mark. I installed the spark plug and tightened it up as close as I could get to the intake manifold. I read on the internet that if your line is between 10 and 2 then you are in the ball park.
So all 4 IK20s are installed and I started up the car. Remember the slight stumble that I had when I bought the car, well it is gone and the outflow from the muffler is a smooth outflow not choppy like before.
So I have a 10 mile commute every day and I do go up several over passes that require the AT to downshift to keep to speed. I can say that the car did not down shift and I was going 65 so you know that I was at low rpms. The car excelerates smoother and when it hits the VTEC

I do notice that it is stronger by the butt dyno.
Now I have 0W-20 mobile 1 synthetic a stock airfilter and just replaced tranny oil 500 miles ago so no mods as of yet.
I was averaging 31-32 mpg per tank a 40/60 split so we will see with the new tank of gas if it helps in MPG.
Oh for a 07 Fit it took me 25 minutes to change the plugs not bad.
I tried to post a pic but I dont have a url to attach pictures
