I would be interested to see if what neighborhood the A/F ratio of that NA fit was in. If it was a tad lean I could definitely see cooler plugs helping keep the ignition advance up.

We only tested with the IK22 in the Fit. We don't carry the IK20 plugs and they would work fine in your car, but we have no data on performance gain. Stock heat range is made to perform in North Dakota cold and Phoenix hot, with high performance not being the top priority. For drivers that demand peak performance and drive their vehicles hard, the IK22 is the plug we recommend. Also, the IK22 spark plugs come with the tighter .8mm gap. The IK20 plugs have a 1.1mm gap standard.

Huh - have Denso Iridium's come down in cost? I remember shopping around a couple years ago and went with NGK iridium's because they were like $5-$6 cheaper per plug . . . doesn't seem to be the case anymore. I see sets of the IK22's on eBay for $32 shipped, and NGK's are roughly the same.
They may be made by Denso - but that doesn't mean they're iridium tipped. The vast majority of OEM spark plugs are platinum these days.

I support those who offer the most competitive price and service - eBay vendors often offer the best in both categories . . . fwiw, I ordered my plugs on 7/1, and received them 7/3 - eBay member 'carpartsnew'.
If it makes anyone feel any better, the money I saved puts me $20 closer to a supercharger purchase.

So we have Iridiums after all so I should just stay with mine or getting Denso really gives us 2hp? I am slow on the uptake with spark plugs so if someone can clear it up for me so I can decide to buy or stay

if you arent forced induction, no use in changing your plugs.

It depends on the amount of miles you have on your spark plugs. Spark plugs do wear out over time. Also, there are flow gains to be had with the Denso plugs, as seen on our website. The cylinder head is cleaned up with the shorter IK22 plugs compared to the longer factory plugs.
We have proven on our dyno there is a small gain NA. This performance gain is more noticeable on a boosted car because high-quality spark is more important with boost.
The choice is really up to you.
