Hood Lift Washers

Hey Guys! I recently picked up the hks turbo kit and was wondering if anyone could take a pic of where to put the washers to lift my hood a little but to let out some of the hot air?

Also will this affect my car when it rains?? Since the hood is lifted a little bit?

Any pictures?

Thanks Guys

If you're talking about raking your hood, just put washers between the hood & the bolts that keep the hood attached to your car/hinges. I stopped doing that as my cowl duct scoop wasn't secure anymore and could easily be taken off, and I didn't want to risk getting water on my air filter if it ever rained, as the KWSC filter is probably easy to get wet where it is if the hood is raked.

where the hood meets the hinge on the inside. and then you put the screw on the other side. i believe.....i put like 9 washers when i did it.
if that dont work, then vise versa. put the washers on the screw in side. but i dont think thats right. im almost 100% positive its on the side of the hood.

i dont have it . but im sure you can figure it out. and it didnt do anything when i washed my car or when it did rain.

the only problem i saw was easy access to the battery i think. i cant remember it was over a year ago.
