Need a new clock fast! Any ideas??

I've just managed to install my OEM Honda fascia plate and single din alpine stereo to the Jazz but now have no interior clock as the stereo doesn't have one. I would have bought a stereo with one but I was given this one and is quite high spec so don't wanna change it as it has direct control of my ipod. Does anyone know of any clocks I could fit in the other half of the fascia panel to do the job as my wife says if I don't sort one soon the stereo will have to go. I'll be making a custom plate to house my new scan gauge so if I can get them both in it would be a bonus. Any ideas guys?? HELP!!

Im pretty sure if you got an alpine headunit, it should have a clock. Its probably just not showing?

Have you checked what the display screen options are?

Like I have a JVC headunit 200watt single din, which is pretty low end, and I know if i press a display button somewhere on it, I can choose my display from:

Show the clock,
Show the artist/song playing,
or show the time by seconds of the song/ track #.

Hope this helps. I dont want you to be getting rid of an alpine.
Its probably there, since again, its an alpine. Got a link of your headunit, and model/line?

go to your local supermarket and buy a timex watch and tape it to your dash about the radio and problem solved. make sure to use duct tape so it looks manly.

Shy of sticking something in a gauge pod I don't see how you're getting away from the velcro on the dash. Maybe find a bobblehead with a clock in it

The model is an Alpine CDE-9850Ri, here's a lik to the manual PDF from Alpine's website and it doesn't say owt about one in it! http://www.restricted.alpine-electro...-9850Ri_EN.pdf Might have to get a dodgy LCD clock from a Ford or something an fit that in the din space at this rate!

try messing with the [title] button on the right of the LCD. my jvc and sony had a button like that, called [display] and then if you press it, a couple times, different displays come up. if you hold it or something, maybe you can adjust the clock.

if it doesnt have a clock, maybe you can get some cool looking lcd clocks from something like brookstone or any shop that sells cool lookign stuff.

hope it works out.
