Sport trim removal

Removal of the plastic aero trim has been discussed on this board many times and I even ran a poll on it (70% wanted the option to have "sport only" features without the aero trim).

Assuming Honda has no plans to make any changes in what it offers (next generation?) and the fact that quite a few folks now have their Fits, have any actually attempted to remove the aero trim? And if so what is involved, are there any visible holes or other scars left?

Still looking for pictures and "words of wisdom" on the removal of the sport trim stuff.

I hate to pay the extra for this stuff, but as long as its the only way to get all the other good stuff I don't see a choice other than to hold off on my purchase until they offer this or until the next generation!
