Installation Of Floor Mats...???
Hi again, well I got new "FIT" floor (carpet) mats for my B-Day! My
F-in-law tried to install them. Wow, are they ever tricky eh? He was able to get the front 2 in and the rear left hand side one...you just throw in...doing nothing with that one....but what about the rear right hand side one?
How the heck do we secure that one...do we have to use that template thingy?
Thanks for the help!

I installed mine last week end and could not figure out the necessity of tying down the RR one... so I did not.
But using the template for the carpet cutting is the only way to allign properly the hook with the hole in the carpet.

Ahhh Yes, I love a simple solultion. My hooks do not hold my drivers floor mat and I couldn't figure out how to make the hooks stay.
Going to Home Depot for industrial velcor, and that will make that mat stay where I put it!
Thanks for the solution.

You did cut the insulation and uncovered the holes into the metal floor, have you?
Now, in order to stabilize the hooks for the front mats in place, you have to push in the square cap into/over the insertions so they will remain spreaded apart and won't come off. This is the Honda way. Of course any customized solution will be as good as the result
