Hey everyone,

Just the other day, my windshield wiper assembly gave out. Just pulled it out, but trying to figure out what part needs replacement. Basically it seems like the wiper rod from the motor is no longer connected to the rest of the assembly. however, looking at the parts, it is not clear what needs to be replaced, as I assumed all i would need to replace would be the coupling between the two rods, but there is no coupling as an individual part number. Can anyone here help out?

 

I'm uncertain about Hondas, but I've had a similar failure happen on a Mitsubishi and individual repair parts were not available. I couldn't figure out a way to reengineer the thing, so bought a new mechanism. You could perhaps try to find a replacement at a wrecking yard.
