is it possible to use a 2007 honda fit ecu in a 2006 honda fit?

is it possible to use a 2007 honda fit ecu in a 2006 honda fit?
im having issues getting a 2006 honda fit manual ecu, there are only 2007s ecu and they are automatic. is it possible to use a 2007 auto ecu on a 2006 manual? any help will be appreciate it.

An auto ECU will not work on a manual. You can probably get away with the year change but not the transmission type.
