Honda fit 2004 issues
Honda fit 2004 issues
So i have a honda fit jazz 2004 model that has been really bothering me. I recently changed gear due to jerking and now the new gear shows a blinking D light and the rpm goes really high at low speed. When i noted no improvement i changed its ecu. It performed well for a few kilometers and i am back to the same problem. Blinking D light and very high rpm causing it to rev. Also before i used to do 20+ kilometers per litre now i am at 10km/ltr. I did a diagnosis today and got these codes 70-03(p0700) a/t And 53-01(p1887) vabs vehicle speed signal input inconsistency. Kindly help because i have really spent alot on it. Thanks
Most likely a bad Torque Converter Switch in the transmission. However it could also be wiring. https://www.transmissionrepaircostguide.com/p1887/
Your transmission is going into limp mode which normally means 2nd gear because of this issue and that's why you're getting the high rpms.

How did you solve the transmission jerking? my d light doesnt blink but it tends to jerk a bit and sometimes it lags going into gear, the only code it shows on my basic scanner is the p1887 the torque converter release switch
