Fit code p0443

Hey guys, I’ve been messing around with making a custom intake for my fit, and I finally got something I like. The only problem is I’m getting code p0443. I’m assuming it has something to do with the changes I’ve made, I’m just confused as to why? The code says EVAP canister purge valve circuit malfunction. Nothing is really different from how the intake works from oem, except maybe more air flow? Any thoughts?

That purge valve from the code is right on the throttle body - did you double/triple check the vacuum and electrical connections?

heres a troubleshooting guide for that 0443 code that might help - it’s for EU/UK cars..so idk how accurate it will be, it looks pretty close.

DTC Troubleshooting: P0443 (92-4) (5MT)

or if you have the stock air box - put it back, and then see if the code still shows. Then you’ll know if it’s the the fault of your in or in the purge valve/sensor

Ok I feel like an idiot. I checked the connector you mentioned and I didn’t plug it in all the way.. Nonetheless I plugged it in and the code is gone!

Would anyone be interested in a build thread for this intake? It could be all in my head but the car does feel like it has more power in the higher rpms. Hopefully I can get it on a dyno to see.
