Mass air flow sensor 2008 fit sport

Mass air flow sensor 2008 fit sport

Can anyone tell me if 2008 Honda Fit Sport has a mass air flow sensor & if so were is it located picture would be great I know it has a Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor that i am replacing thanks

The first gen Fit does not use a MAF.

The ‘07 and ‘08 Fits use a MAP sensor. It is located right behind the throttle body.

can the map have the same kind of problem and need to be taken out and cleaned with maf cleaner??

I recently had a P0172 light up. After I cleaned my MAP sensor, the CEL has yet to come back. I am not certain if that was the fix, or if it was just coincidental.
To answer your question, “Google” said that the MAP sensor can be cleaned.

i just got brand new OE for 15 bucks be here friday figured what the hay

Yes, you can pull the map sensor and clean it with electronic parts cleaner. Let it dry and install with a new o ring. That's if it's actually dirty and not a voltage issue.

running lean said they think dirty or bad so jusy bought new for cheap we will see what happens
