Hey I’m about to swap my k20z3 from my 2010 civic si into my 2008 Honda Fit but I can’t seem to find a straight forward answer on the ecu set up. Is it possible to get the dash working using either the ecu from the civic or the fit? Or is there a way to use both together? Aswell is Hondata or k-pro mandatory for this swap... would be great to hear from someone who has done this already but any info will help. Thanks!

 

Wild idea, if you have the civic, do you not also have the dash from it? I would think it would be easier to hack that in place in the fit- than rewiring everything for the fit. The same goes for the ecu.

I have no idea. Another option may be to compare the wiring layout of the civic dash to the fit. Since they're both honda from similar era, i'd bet the colors & layout are similar.

 

lol funny you say that .. it was only yesterday I decided I’m going to try and do exactly that. Put the si dash in the fit.. it’s gonna be a little while befor I get to that part but I’ll be sure to post an update . Thx for the tips and ideas btw I love it!
