GE8 K24z3 Swap

Hi guys! So I know there are a lot of forums regarding how to swap or even general help to swap the fit, but I couldn’t find anything newer. Is nobody interested in swapping the fit anymore? Lol. Anyways I was hoping to get a little more help for my swap regarding wiring, fitment, and all that. I am kind of new to all of this, i am 19 years old trying to do my very first swap. Some info for what I have currently is listed below:
- K24z3 from a 2010 TSX
-2015 Civic Si tranny
- Hasport motor mounts
- Shifter and cables from the Si
- Wiring harness and ecu off the Si, (I believe i need to use the older model harness and ecu off the tsx I believe as it is scary close to the fit wiring?)
- Other misc. stuff like comp clutch injectors etc.

I saw Paul Bomers explanation video on youtube but I didnt really get much out of it, plus he hasn’t updated in months lol. Im trying to figure out the whole wiring issue out so i can safely send it to get it swapped. Any help would most certainly help.

I believe the k
K24Z7 with Z7 was ECU and A2-Z1 or Z3 tranny is the easiest and most direct K swap for the GE8. That engine shares similar sensors and ECU to the GE8 there is a guy on Instagram who’s done it quite simply I believe.

If I ever go that route I'd pull the K20 out of an '06-11 Civic Si, strictly for the sound. Agree the K24 is a stronger engine overall but I've never heard a K24 sound as great as a stock K20.

It's just me, I know I'm in the minority but that'd be my engine of choice. Would throw a couple bolt-ons at it to hit ~9000k RPM.

It’s not about being stronger the K24Z7 has a compatible ECU and sensor set up that will allow the car to run like normal with the least amount of screwing around.

Still wouldn't care, it'd be all about the sound. That's worth the headache for me.

I went with the z3 because it was the cheaper option and with the tight fit, i also found some headers on ebay that might work with the clearance issue, since It has a single exhaust port. I also found a guy that is going to make my custom harness so that works too.
