New Old Fit (:3), Reverse odd behavior
New Old Fit (:3), Reverse odd behavior
Got a 2H '08 GD1 automatic 3 weeks ago, currently has 147000+km on it. Last owner was the first owner, she had the vehicle for 12 years. Other than my suspicion that it's a dekitted vehicle, a full government evaulation revealed only some wear and tear that does not affect usability/safety at the moment. None of their concerns involved transmission, there is an "oily engine" oil sump flagged that I plan to deal with next servicing soonish.
No problems driving it around for the past 2.5 weeks.
Previous vehicle was a hand-me-down '05 Toyota Corolla Altis 1.5, same acceleration characteristics, not as loud, less helpful power steering, higher turn radius, also a CVT automatic, very little maintenance needed.
So, the reverse gear on the 2nd hand GD. I would sometimes feel as through I've hit something when reversing, didn't hit anything at all. Only occurs once in a reverse parking run every... 7 times or so.
Anyone else had something like this?
Thanks.
