How do you remove the rear seats and replace trunk carpet?

Hey guys, quick question: how do you disconnect the trunk carpet from the rear seat backs in order to pull out each rear seat individually? Without detaching the carpet, currently, the entire rear trunk board/carpet and both seats will have to come out in 1 piece, which would suck. There's gotta be a way....

Your help in gettng the seats out and carpet removed would be fantastic!

See images attached.... The child seat tether mounts appear to be pressed into the trunk carpet that flows up onto the seatback. I'm not sure how to remove these tether mounts, which seem to be my big hurdle right now. I searched the forums for clear DIY instructions, but haven't found anything addressing the above scenario. Instructions here Rear Seat Removal/Installation :: Rear :: Seats :: Seating :: Body :: Honda Fit 2007-2020 Repair Manual :: Second generation (2007-2020) also omit the above detail.

My desired outcome is: 1) remove the seats individually. 2) install new carpet in OEM location.

Rear passenger seat as seen from the trunk.

I can remove the 2 rear push-clips on each side of the child car seat tether mounts (black vertical rectangle in middle of photo), but how the heck do you remove these mounts?
