Trouble Finding An Ignition Switch Part - What Do I Need?

HONDA FIT 2007
IGNITION SWITCH

UPDATE

I found the missing piece so maybe this helps, the part where the key initially goes in has been popped and snapped off the rest of the ignition switch barrel. I attached it!

Please know in advance I know nothing about cars, I am still learning. The only things I can do is check the oil, replace the headlights, and replace the air filter.

The mechanics I'm dealing with is having a hard time finding a part, I want to know what parts are needed though; isn't it a two part, the barrel and the actual part that's inside the barrel that the key slides into? Backstory is, my car was broken into, I had a remote technician check out the ignition switch, days later they're finding it difficult to find a part, I asked what part is needed and they said they don't know yet but if I can find one they'd be happy to install it. Now to the current time, I'm looking for information on how to find out what is needed, or if anyone already knows what is needed. From there I'll look around. Here's a lot of pictures, hopefully this helps.

Ok so I don't really know what I'm talking about

But what exactly is broken? Does your key not fit any more because of damage? Or doesn't turn?

You can try to check the parts here to see what looks damaged: https://honda-europe.epc-data.com/ja...p=25&fromMap=1
Could be that the whole thing is 06350-SAA-G20 CYLINDER SET, KEY

Hello sir! Thanks for commenting, I appreciate it a lot! I’ll check my car out tomorrow morning but so far the main thing that’s broken is that lip part that the key goes into. It’s been popped off and snapped from the rest of the ignition switch. So the car can’t be turned on because the ignition switch is broken but the cars electrical areas that are connected to the ignition barrel is fine! I’ve saved the picture that you linked - thank you! I’ll see about the cylinder set!

When you buy that from Honda it comes complete. Just order the right part and replace the complete ignition switch assembly.
