I have a 2008 Fit and as of late, it's been making a weird hissing noise sometimes when I start it. It only happens about 20% of the time when I start it, but it sounds similar to opening a fresh bottle of Sprite, it's like a carbonation sound. The check engine light is on, though I have not gotten the code checked. Nothing else appears to be wrong with the car, it all runs smoothly. I have a hunch the noise and check engine light are correlated. Any ideas for the cause of the noise?

Not sure but you can order a cheap code reader OBD2 on amazon then go from there. Really easy and comes in handy.
