08 MT transmission options

the input shaft bearing bad and instead of pulling it apart and changing the bearing, I'd rather just get another one

what other year options bolt up

Sorry I know this is exactly what you are not asking for but I don't know the actual answer without doing a lot of research myself

I would however suggest reconsidering the bearing replacement. Once the transmission is out, replacing the bearings is actually pretty simple, I've done it without any prior experience. The input shaft bearings cost like $20 and you know they're good. If you're installing another old transmission, there's no guarantee the bearings won't go bad soon anyway.

i was in the same position a year ago. my input shaft bearing was whining so bought a used trans and had a shop swap it out. i kept the old trans, which shifted smoothly w/ no grind so its worth saving. youtube ERIC THE CAR GUY, he has a vid removing civic trans and replacing input shaft bearings and few seals. civic setup isnt same as fit but very close. it gave me confidence to take apart my original trans. i highly recommend every replacement seal and bearings be HONDA only.
