Replaced bad bearing
Replaced bad bearing
Well sort of. Left front wheel bearing has been making noise for a while now. In Dec. I got a whole steering knuckle complete with hub and bearing on eBay for $60. I figure that's cheaper than buying a new one and the time it takes to press the old one out and new one in.
My biggest worry was the ABS sensor, with the bolt out it just wouldn't budge. My tech suggested I pull the hub and tap it from underneath. Worked like a charm
I now have a perfect Fit. It's weird, I'd got so used to the noise that it seem odd with it being so quiet.
