Title as it sounds, I'm looking for some options for drop in seats, modifying the stock rail, or aftermarket rails. Something more comfortable than stock seats. Also not sure if I can do the GK5 trick and muscle the upper coil set out of the back of the seat.

I pulled them out today to do some deep cleaning while I modified my center console for some USB power delivery and thought, hmm, maybe I could put some EP3 seats in here?

I wouldn't mess with the stock driver seat. It has a factory air bag in it to help save your life in a car wreck. Not sure why you would want to compromise that.

 

I’ve read some people were able to use ep3 or 8th gen civic seats and have been able to connect airbags, you’d need to customize some seat rails though

 

The EP Civic does not have seat mounted air bags.

 

I didn’t realize the ep doesn’t have seat airbags. The 8th gen does though, and people have put them into gd & ge fits. I couldn’t find any definitive info on srs airbag connections though. If you Google si seats into gd3 you should be able to find some more info

 

Maybe consider seat covers? A member is selling Clazzio seat covers for the GD3

 

If you are referring to the red ones, those are for a GE. I would have bought them already if they were for a GD! lol
