TPMS light won't turn off.

I changed the instrument cluster on my 2007 Honda Fit since the old one crapped out. I made sure the part numbers were the same and now the TPMS light is on. I looked up how to reset it but I don't have the button on the left side of the steering wheel its only on 08 and up models. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Try checking your tire pressure first. If all are good then maybe one of your tpms sensor is bad?

I believe the 07 models don't come with it. I checked and it's just the regular valve stems on the wheels.

2007s don't have TPMS, 2008s do have TPMS as a model year mandate per the government.

From 2008 to 2013, Fits used a direct TPMS which used actual sensors in the wheel. The indirect method seen on GK5s (2015 to 2020) will not apply.

You likely snagged a gauge cluster out of a 2008... Not sure how the TPMS fault would prompt unless it was stored from the previous car or the gauge control module sees the lack of the TPMS wiring as a system fault.

Makes sense. I checked and it's indeed from a 2008. Hopefully that's okay it's working so far.

Should be fine other than the TPMS light throwing a fit.
