TPMS light
The tire shop just took off my snow tires (with no TPMS) and put back on my factor tires and wheels. After 3 days the TPMS light indicator on the dashboard is still on. The tire shop guys said it will go off in a day or two, but not yet. Will it?

Snowy winter already over in your area???
For us "easterners" still at least one more month to go, usually first week of April I get rid of the snowy tires and put back on my 205/40/R17 aftermarket Enkei rims and tires until next Dec.
Drive safely out there.

The way things are going this winter, you might have to push that date back a bit ...

Yeah, we're not getting the snow that you east coasties are getting pounded with, but I can't wait til these cold temps go back to Siberia.

Inflate the tire to your optimal desires, install these Victor Aluminum Sport Valve Caps 22-5-07260-8A: Advance Auto Parts
It's safe, it don't get seized like those ebay ones since the inside is plastic ( I learnt my lesson)
Once you inflate the tire hold the tpms button for 5-10seconds and it will go away.

Proper procedure is this (from the manual): With the transmission in P or N (manual trans.) turn on the ignition without starting the engine (pos. 2). Press and hold the TPMS button until the TPMS light blinks twice, then start the car and drive it. The system will recalibrate itself while you drive.
