CVT Mode switching issue

Hi everyone

A year ago i start gradually losing the CVT steering wheel buttons (also audio RCD buttons).
Both paddles, plus the 7speed button, was getting more and more difficult to select.
I had the feeling the a bad contact (due to dirt-dust) was happening.

I did ignore the issue since my wife doesn't really use the paddles.

But since last month, during driving the CVT changes mode, randomly!
From full D - CVT auto goes to CVT gear select, back and forth!!!
And this is happening more and more often.
At first i thought a sticky "7speed" button could be the case but it seems to me now, it's an CVT ECU issue or a steering swift switch?
Has anyone experience something like that?
If yes i would appriciate his input.

Best Regards to all, Dimitris

This is exactly what happened to me recently! I haven't found a solution yet, but I suspect the problem is in the "clock coil" because I took the steering wheel apart and played with the coil a few turns in all directions and it stopped (the button still hasn't responded).

Did you replace the "clock coil" and solve the problem? Did the button work again?
