I was trying to replace the PCV valve on the honda jazz 2005, but it got broken and the grommet flange was torn. I am stuck & may you kindly help with tips to get it out? PCV broke & before the grommet got torn. It's hard to reach, under the intake manifold.Took the picture from the internet as I couldn't take the actual picture due to space.

you are out of luck there... The only way to remove the second half, you will have to remove the pcv cover. That's the horror I faced last time... Took me a while to remove it as there are a lot of things blocking the way... Good luck.
The challenge, the person who sold me the car, he broke the bolt for the starter so I can't get plate out. I managed to remove the grommet but the front part of pvc is inside. Will it cause the harm to the engine.

Yes and no. Yes, if the other half falls straight into the crankshaft, and no, if you are lucky enough that the other half piece stays inside the pcv cover area... But I think that's unlikely as the car is keeps moving when driving, so it will eventually falls into the engine block. So wish you all the best
This looks horrifyingly familiar. When I was replacing mine, the PCV valve broke, plus the grommet rubber had become extremely hard and brittle, and basically everything had to be broken up and picked out. With the grommet removed, I used a vacuum cleaner with a narrow tube attached to fish out the remaining bits and pieces from behind the PCV cover. I didn't have to remove the cover, and the ledge beneath the valve (behind the cover) should hold any debris in the meantime. Good luck with yours! Do you have a replacement valve and grommet standing by?

I have leaks at the PCV cover, so I went ahead and reseal the cover and remove the second half pcv valve.
Hi, I need advice how to remove that pcv cover. I have removed air cleaner box, intake manifold, starter. Also i have all five bolts of pcv cover out but I don't know how to remove cover itself. There is some kind of sealant on between block and cover. Also i would like to know torque spec on these 5 bolts. And what sealant you have used when closing pcv cover.
