Hello guys new fit owner here ! I have a 08 fit I purchased few days of go needed a bit of work so I’ve been tackling that. However the key fob was not working so I changed the battery thinking it’d be that simple. However the key fob still doesn’t work (the red light flashes when clicking buttons) I tried programming it using a video saw on YouTube. In the video it was turning the key to ignition ON and click lock and turn it off and do that few times until it programs. This did not work me am I missing something ? It is there another way to program it? If anyone could help did greatly appreciate it !

 

Does the green key stop flashing when you turn the key on or does it stay flashing/on?

 

did you end up finding a DIY method for this? I also couldn't find anything online that works and figure I'll need to have it programmed at dealership
