You should be locked out of this thread! Unless you'd like to share access with feddup...
scan
You could scan the manual and allow the fitfreaks access to it online. If I were you I wouldn't however. The internet might allow you some anonymity but what we're talking about would not make Honda happy and you work for them!

Nah, I was just kidding! Wouldn't want to cost you your job, man! I'm sure they would frown on your sharing your password with an entire forum....

discount
A little more legit way to approach it would be to that if you get a discount on parts what would an 07 or an 08 manual cost you? I'll buy the actual Honda manual, hell I may bid on that ebay one but I'm in no hurry. I'm still sticking with the "$125 is insane" theory though!
$63
Always check ebay, half.com, and amazon used.

Wow. I guess there are a lot of desperate Fit owners out there! I wouldn't pay that much for it either. Sorry the auction was a dud!
ebay
I'm glad you posted the link. I'll keep watching but I so got burnt that I'd forgotten about the possibility. There are good ebay deals but the buyer just needs to be disciplined.

Yes, and you need to know how to snipe well. Figure out what you want to pay, get that set into your sniping software, and walk away...either you get the item or you don't...doesn't matter one way or the other b/c another one will eventually show up on eBay...
wait, there's software programs you can use for ebay? I can type the highest price I want, and the second before the auction is over, it will automatically bid if I'm not around the PC? What the HELL?

Not the last second, but several seconds is OK. I usually don't go below 15 seconds, I'm too nervous. If you see an auction with 0 bids, but you KNOW the item is one that people want, the bidders are waiting to snipe and get the lowest price.
I was sniped several times and got pretty irritated. If I don't think I have any competition, I will bid in the regular way and not snipe. But at times, it almost looks like shill bidding, where the seller himself will bid against you or have another person bid to drive the price up. This happens IRL, too.
So you do what you gotta do. I'll send you a link PM.

free?
Is this sniping software freeware? If so can you provide me a link? I heard of such software during my ebay phase but was scared of turning my PC loose with my credit card #s in the middle of the night.
