does the LX have the paddle shifters? if so then it will fit..

the base model here in the US does not have paddle shifters and for some reason honda made that silver dome bigger on the fits without paddle shifters..

No paddle shifter.

My ride is a Canadian 07 LX Automatic which comes stock with Cruise Control.

Forgive my ignorance, but couldn't one mill the excess plastic from the new console to make it Fit? Perhaps replacing that silver done with the one from a Fit with paddle shifters?

I was curious myself as to why the console wouldn't fit, and now I know!

yeah i was just thinking that, because that really sucks, just get a dremel tool and make the hole bigger

and if the opening that you cut comes out somewhat rough and uneven after you sand it you can use a black piece of rubber grommet to put around the edge to make it look nice and clean

i don't think your model fit was ever made to have an armrest ever for any market honda was selling it in the world

you can probably make it fit if you really want it to though

its because a "standard" auto transmission has P R N D 2 L, while the fit /w paddles is P R N D S, so its a different shape.
