Just wondering if anyone was tossing their factory airbox that they didn't need after installing an intake. My GF almost always is driving my fit because it gets 2x the mileage that her Lexus LS400 gets, and 100 mile commute a day it adds up quickly. And I have 1 day a week to see my own dammed car.

I want to use a Factory Air Box for a lil technical test I was gonna try to make my own cold air out of it. I did one before on a 4g63 mitsubishi twin cam in my old 93 hyundai elantra beater snow car, and it really helped performance(other than DSM hunting idle due to fukedup MAF's).

If anyone has their OEM part that is not going to use it please let me know as I have 2 mental designs ready to try out. I am trying to make one that isn't particularly loud(a lil growl or snarl) but has better performance and flow. If you are bay area I could meet up and pick it up on my bike or in my accord, or if you are far away I could paypal you some $ for shipping. Please let me know, Thanks in advance.

I should be receiving one any day now, thanks for the offer, bought dewthedews, but I know other people are shopping for them on the forum for DIY intakes and such. Post it up it will sell quickly. I think someone else was trying to buy dewthedews so they prolly need one.

 

Sounds like she needs to get her own damn Fit. Time to sell the Lexus.
