Stock OEM intake mod...

Hey everybody...I was messing around in the garage today with the stock intake on my 2009 Fit Sport AT, and I punched out the bottom of the air box and dropped in a K&N air filter...It sound great and I keep up with my buddies Fit that has a an aftermarket intake system(not sure what system)..This cost me no money, and I am debating now on even ordering an aftermarket system, or sticking that money into my suspension and exhaust fund...Let me know what anybody thinks..

The PRM JetStream Intake gives a noticeable increase in power and sounds great. Why not eliminate the sharp bends and instead place a reverse cone intake with venturi effect right next to the fenderwell cold-air duct? There is a little scoop by the drivers-side fog light that directs air into the fenderwell like a big plenum. It has ram-effect air at speed. Check out the PRM website. It is the best bang for the buck I have found for my Fit..

Save for suspension. An intake will net you, what, like 2 hp? Who cares about the name brand intake, the filter is all what matter IMO.

K&N =
