have an aluminum outer lip? i went to a tire and brake shop to get my dented buddyclub looked at and the guy said if i was to bang it out it would crack because it is aluminum. he said to fix it they would have to heat it up and pressure the dent out... which would cause around 120-150 bucks.

so... is the outer ring aluminum? ANY replys will help.
