Honestly I dont think you have to worry to much about your Fit being stolen. The car is going to be harder to steal then a Civic or Integra. Also Civics and Integra get stolen so much because there realy easy to steal and the parts on those cars are in real high demand so its easy to sell the parts quickly.

One of the main reasons I like to watch Cesar Milan, the Dog Whisperer, is because of his pit bull assistant, Daddy. That dog is the absolute coolest being on the entire planet!!! He has light green eyes and his tail is ALWAYS wagging....but don't dare mess with him because he will just growl low and let you know...you are going to be sorry you did that in a minute....then he starts wagging all over again. I am the biggest fan of Daddy!

Every pit bull I have ever met has been sweet. Not their owners, but they are.

I have no fancy rims, just the standard hubcaps.

thought about one of those motorcycle chains and locks through a couple of tires and lockable stud nuts?
Thats what farmers around here use to protect lawn tractors. Seems to work.

yeah

as a couple others stated, the fuel line shut off will occur if they manage to get the car turned on...

without a factory key the car won't stay on once the small amount of fuel in the fuel line is depleted.... ( because the factory key has an electronic chip in it)

they can tow it though...but it's a base fit...i don't think you have anything to worry about...and unless you have aftermarket rims...no one in their right mind would steal 14" steelies with honda hubcaps

don't keep any fabriche eggs in the car either

Don't put a bunch of aftermarket parts on your car to attract thieves, especially audio equipment.

Get really good insurance with a reputable insurance company. Won't keep your car from being stolen, but will help out if it does.

I got an idea.
Wet sand the car, then spray paint the car with a matte finish in different colors. Kind of like graffiti. No one will want the car then. Use black steel wheels with no hubcaps. You won't have anything to worry about after that.
Park in peace.

I'm sorry to get off topic but my brother & I got out the club on Saturday & when we are walking towards his Jeep there's a dude just sitting in it so we just keep walking past & act like it wasn't ours & when we look back towards the Jeep the guy just continued ripping the radio out so my brother & I run to the Jeep from behind & delivered the a$$ beating of a lifetime. The a$$ beating paid for the damage he did & we took his book bag that had like 6 radios in it. I dropped the radios off the next day to the police station.

with the factory immobilizer thieves cannot start the car
however
they could still tow it or jack parts by breaking in
so
its a good idea to install a compustar

For sure, I'm usually in the lude forums, but sometimes I'm on here. The whole regional experience on this forum isn't that great.
