im in the position to get a set of 205/50/15 for free and im wondering if these tires will fit on the stock 15's...i have 08 fit s....

 

Yes, they will fit, a couple of people on here (myself included) run 205/50s. They are slightly shorter in sidewall height and 10 mm wider in tread width than the stockers. Your speedo will read fast by about 1 mph if memory serves me correctly. Free is a good price LOL What kind of tires are they?

 

thanks for ur quick response....im not sure what brand they are, i'll find out within the next few days....i just really wanted to replace the tires that came with the car stock, they allways look flat...lol.

just to clarify: the speedo will be off by a percentage/ratio, so how many mph it is off will depend on the speed you're going. the higher the speed, the more mph it will read under actual speed. but it's very minimal and negligible. the tire size you're asking about is VERY close to the stock tire's circumference
