Rear Seat ! curse!

Rear Seat ! curse!

I have 07

my Rear 40 seat the latch is wonky on it

i pull the latch, it comes up but the seat doesn't disengage

almost like a spring or something is missing, it happened about 6 months ago as well but the service shop fixed it , and said it was super simple if it happens gain just read the manual , there is nothing in the manual!!

they probably were talking about the service manual.

you can find drawings of that part there and try to figure it out.

Mine did this as well. Just take it to the dealership its probably just the latch being loose

You can fix it yourself... One time the seat belt got caught on the latch, i pulled the plastic latch to release and bring down the seat and ended up "breaking" it. Took the seat apart and there's a plastic piece that holds on to the metal hanger, you have to put the plastic piece back on, its very small do not lose it. Once on, then you have to lift the other plastic piece and connect both lol. Then the plastic latch will work perfectly.
