2007 Jazz/Fit Keyless upgrade ?
Hello all, nice forum here and lots of interesting ideas, I have just bought an early Gen 1 2007 base Honda Fit (Jazz in the UK) as this model does not have the keyless remote, I have been searching for an upgrade to this, I see many here have fitted the genuine Honda part 08E60-SLN-100 but I can't find this part in the UK, when I search the web.
Does anyone know if the UK part no is different to the US one, if I can't source one I was considering one of the "Universal" Keyless entry kits that can be found on the web/ebay ?, if so are they any more difficult to fit than the original Honda part?.
Many thanks

In answer to my own question, for anyone else in the UK with the same problem, Honda UK "Do Not import/stock this leyless module.
So it's the aftermarker route for me I'm afraid, I will update my progress, in the hope it helps others.

Can you get one of the US or other foreign suppliers to ship to you? It might run you a few extra quid for shipping and VAT. I'm in the US so I can't recommend a place by experience. Maybe the UK fitfreakers know of a good place.
IF the UK market car can share parts with the USDM car, College Hills Honda here in the US sells the part for about $100. If they won't ship maybe you could talk a board member into receiving it and sending it on to you.
When you do get the part, a bit of advice with the installation - fold up the rear seat on the driver's side, fold the actual river's seat flat ("refresh mode") and slide it back as far as it will go. This will give you a comfortable platform to lie on your back and get your head fully under the dash (necessary in order to find some of the wiring). Installation is a piece of cake!
