My friend picked me up a JDM hazard switch on his way home last night and dropped it off in my mailbox this morning on his way to work. I hope to install it this evening when I get home from work. Hopefully my all-weather floor mats and red horn button inserts will be here today as well.

Nice, the hazard button adds a nice touch to the dash. It'll be easiest if you pop the panel above the pedals off then reach up and push out the switch.

I did a search last night on how to replace the hazard switch. I didn't realize it was so difficult. People breaking their old switches, breaking the clip on the a/c vents, dropping clips from their instrument cluster, etc... your way seems to be the best without chance to break, scratch, or damage stuff. Thanks for the info!

I put the dead pedal in today, dint realise one of the requirements to install it was you needed to be a contortionist. Also picked up my new seats today sitting in them I'm like a kid on christmas day, cant wait to get them in.

After picking the seats up I took a back road home with some nice twist. I think the driving gods where on my side too. Its a two way road threw all the twists and I had no traffic in front of me

Wifey said the steelies for the winter tires arrived today. Will get to Costco this weekend for a new set of summer rubber. Will do a little research first, but I have a few ideas of what I'm buying.

Ordered my Swift springs last night.

Friday, drove into Boston for a two day continuing ed class, and parked her in quite possibly the best parking spot in the Copley Place garage, if not all of Boston. All by herself on blue 2, in between a wall and column, overnight. No way anyone could ding her, and no foot traffic in that area, so no ricers stealing my stock rims.

Saturday, picked up the kids, took them to my parents in Beverly, drove back home, and then repeated for Sunday. Wifey was in Wrentham for an overnight birthday shopping trip with her friend from high school.

Can't wait until the springs arrive and I get them installed. WOO HOO!

Did you use gd3vbp's method posted above? Sounds like it's a good idea. I was planning on getting one soon too.

Put in a new low pressure hose for the A/C cause old one had a hole in it. I swear doing anything on this car is much harder than it needs to be due to how tightly squeezed everything is in the engine bay. Just need to get it flushed/purged/recharged and no more dying in the summer heat.

Yep, I just slid the driver's seat all the way back, tilted the steering column all the way up and tried to position myself on the driver's side floorboard so I could reach all the way up and push the bottom of the switch clip to make it pop-out. Once the bottom pops out, the switch will slide out. Easy upgrade. No tools required.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday grtpumpkin!

My latest minor mod is a set of rear precut foils to give some shade to my lils. Not so clean as a proper tint but easily removable (we have absurdly restrictive lawa, asking for registration even for tints!).

If everything I got for my car was a birthday gift to myself I'd be an old man.... Hell, I am an old man.... If I was to put all of the decals I have gotten with the stuff I have put on my car on the back window it would be very difficult to see out of and I am sure I would get pulled over by a cop or my car would be stolen.... The last car I had put as much performance parts into got stolen twice and I never saw it again after the second time so I don't know what to do with the decals. Megan b pipe arrives Thursday, another decal to put in the drawer.

Is it really that easy? how difficult is it to get your hand/arm up there? I told my self I wasn't going to spend money on something as silly as a JDM switch but now that I have the DC5 seats the switch would be a nice touch.
