are you planning on getting that fixed soon?
Well Im going to see how the fit pulls with a testpipe, midpipe, and axleback and decide if it's even worth it. Ima hold on to the headers and see if I miss them, if so, I'll get em rethreaded maybe using a helicoil kit. But with the fit, I probably wont even notice the header is missing lol.

Anyways, after these 100 degree days are long gone, I'm feeling a Mid-atlantic Fit cook out at a park or something. I hear Kara is going to be the master griller!

I wanna come to a cookout too! I would even show up I promise! Did you strip the threads on the flex-pipe, or do you mean you stripped the head? Either way, sucks but one is def easier to fix on your back in the driveway. You will miss the header every time you need to merge onto the highway with the A/C on! And Roo, quit yer whining about a paltry 56K LOL I have you by almost 17K ! I took the lower bumper cover portion of my bra off a few days ago. I am loving the look of the car with the cf hood and satin black lip! pics at some point after I get her back from the body shop....

Hey Ross it's stripped where the header meets the cat. The 2 Spring bolts. All I know is I'm missing something! And you're right, when the AC is on, the car feels sluggish till above 3K then it moves. 60-80 on the highway is where I miss it the most.. I'll find out soon if it's the sippy straw header or the coke bottle cat.

That shouldn't be too hard to re-tap from underneath the car. If I remember correctly there are weld-nuts on the header flange that those spring bolts go into. Those are probably your trouble. If they can't be saved you are welcome to my old OE header, I'm never switching mine back LOL. I just have to go spelunking in my basement and find the friggin thing! It is the header man, I still have the cat and factory mid-pipe on mine and the header makes all the difference....

Oh the DC header is off the car so it'll be real easy to re-tap. I have my oem one on now lol

Now the thing is, do I wanna fix this or grab something different Like I said, I may leave the oem one on for a while and see how the car pulls with everything after the header, including cat delete. I just need to pick up a midpipe now.

Removed the Licience Plate and added a chrome stip.
I like it okay but will be going to the bone yard to find a piece of wider trim on something??

Question P.S. Wiper Delete, what do ya think?

Thanks Dee! Your my good friend here too!
So today after power washing the garage, (didn't want the wife to think I spend all my time work'n on cars...lol)
I took the P.S. wiper off after remembering a thread from HFF.com I read, and this cost .25 cents and 15 min. for the paint to dry
Well now it's time for a trip for Chinees food hope I don't get busted for not having a front plate, but it looks so much better. I know "Tell it to the Judge", sign here.....

I'm all confused! I thought the DC one was effed up and you didn't have an OEM! Oh well, I still haven't found my OE one, I know its around here somewhere though Was I at least right about the weld nuts? Perrenoud that chrome strip looks fantastic with the accesory grille I'm digging it, very OEM Plus as the dubbers like to say.

I finished fixing my projectors and decided to swap the turn signal and the marker lights. I would rather have the brighter of the two as the marker rather than the turn signal but now I have hyper signals so tonight, I will be swapping them back around.
