I feel like the L15's potential hasn't really been tapped yet, but might make a strong case for not going K-series from a "bang for the buck" perspective (up to say 300 whp, going for big WHP numbers is pretty easy with K engines.)
The FlashPro is much better than the FIC/eManage/Dastek piggy backs for any application.

And FYI, hardware exists to make over 500whp from the L-series. There are at least two over 400whp as well. One was an LEA, the other two are L15A1's. Not too mention a few dozen in the 200-300whp range.

I've read of a few highly built L-series out there. I was just curious why there aren't hundreds of 200~300 whp street cars roaming around yet, guess the upfront cost of a $10k Fit vs boosting a $2k Civic is the main reason. A built-block Fit with a Borg Warner EFR 6258 would be lots of fun. Quick spool, but GT2876 top-end.

There aren't hundreds because of the type of people who are buying Fits at this stage in their life cycle.

I think this is the second time I've seen you specifically mention the BW 6258.. thats ~45lbs/min worth of turbo. What is it you have in mind with that unit?

>90% of Turbo Fit's wouldn't max out turbos with 60% of that flow capacity. 16G's and 2860's are about the biggest most go, even then leaving headroom.

The GT2876 is a ~50lb/min turbo by the way.. the 6258 is going to fall far short of that out the back door. Not an especially good comparison.

Either of which would take considerable boost and rpm to do on a SOHC L15 and only a handful of people around the world have elected to go that route. If you have the stomach and the wallet for it, I'd be happy to design you a >400whp build.

Working on replacing the weather stripping in the hatch and pass rear door..

Also, apologies to everyone I have not yet gotten back too! Been trying to keep up, and slammed this week with a shoulder injury from kickboxing among other things thats slowing me down!

I am digging out little by little and will be locking myself in my office tomorrow night to hammer out a bunch of work! Nearly every FlashPro tune except a handful have gone out, and almost all designs/inquiries will be sorted by late friday or early saturday!

PM is still one of the best ways to reach me, though I am giving strong consideration to a receptionist haha If you have my cell, text is best. Email or PM is preferred however!

Refill ac gas yesterday.. Planning to have my car washed today and take some photo. I've never taken a photo of my jazz since I bought it in March. Oh god, it was February when I bought the car. How could I forget?

Pictures will be up soon. If your eyes are not tired seeing stock gd3. I'm planning to change the paint once I got my hands on some accessories I have in mind.

most definitely there are some packing peanuts in there... jdm peanuts

i got my GD3 lowered today, TEINS, very happy with the results. too rainy for pics tho

general question for the turbo owners... what's the fuel economy like? i'd love to get a kraftwerks kit but i wouldn't even consider it if i'm to get the mpg of a WRX. quite happy with achieving nearly 40mpg highway... even if i'm pretty slow.

Fuel economy depends on how often you are in boost.. if you drive calmly you can retain stock economy, or even better with a vac/boost gauge to remind you to behave.
