What did you do to the GD Fit today?
Working on getting the Fit dialed in. So far based on low RPM pulls, picked up 20 whp @ 3000rpm and continued to rise to 30whp improvement by 4500rpm. This is all using Virtual Dyno, so I can't say it's super accurate, but allows me to compare the car with the same tool and shows gains regardless. Stopped the run there. A/F's are still low @ 10.4 so more pickup to come!
Yep, worth every penny IMO. I was wrong in saying 20-30whp.. it was torque. Then I noticed the hill was a bit on a decline and not my normal spot for logging a pull. Today I did more tuning and did a pull in my normal spot and have picked up 20whp now and 25wtq. Temp was hotter this time too, but that would make maybe 2hp difference at most.
I just shampoo-ed all the seats and floors. It was obvious that the back seats were never used by the previous owner. All the dirt was up front. I also re-polished the headlights with the Meguiar's Plastic X in preparation for the urethane/spirits UV protection tomorrow.
I also ordered custom fit Avery Select touring mats with a nice orange serged edge all the way around and a pair of blue flip flops as a decal for the front mats. I'll keep the (very) old OEM rubber mats and use them as winter mats.

Successful weekend thus far.
Oil change, tires balanced and rotated and got an alignment. Oh, I also got a car wash from some local kids trying to raise money.

Just the other week I noticed some stains on my headliner. Can't tell what it is, but it looks almost like coffee stains. Any suggestions on how to get it cleaned out?

Installed a cheap stereo upgrade :)
I installed a decent, some-what cheap stereo upgrade recently (sorry it wasn't exactly today...):
Sony WX-GT80UI CD Receiver, DD
Kicker 11DS60 6.5" 2-way Car Speakers
XTC 6-1/2-inch pair Speaker Baffles
Bazooka BTA8100 BT Series 8-Inch 100-Watt Amplified Tube Subwoofer
All accessories needed to install came with crutchfield order except the Bazooka FAST wiring harness kit! I don't expect to win any audio competitions, but it sounds really good inside for what it's worth!!
I posted some pics here: Unofficial Honda FIT Forums - BenH79's Album: Stereo Upgrade

Not today but most recent thing I've done to my GD was I installed Honda red emblems I got off a local seller. $60 for the pair, good buy if I must say.

Any particular brand you would recommend?
today I installed the obx r header with cat delete.. lemme tell u what a damm pain I had to take it to an exhaust shop and have a new o2 bung welded onto it I read on here about rerouting wires and disconnecting clips to make this particular header fit but I just plugged the hole in the b pipe and had a new one welded on at the same location as stock for the o2 sensor I put a weapon r cel fix on the b pipe an so far no cel there is a noticible power gain however the gain is small def not like when I had a tc and installed headers on that man what a difference ...I got the obx headers new for only 78.00 from a bid on ebay with free shipping so I took a chance with them .. over all tho if I was gonna pay full price I woulda gone with a megan combo and stayed away from the obx besides the o2 sensor prb everything else fit perfect also I belive the welds looked good and quality imo doesn't look like it will be an issue in the future..
Installed the Skunk2 short shift kit on my GD3..
love it, relatively easy and inexpensive mod (on sale for only $15. from Skunk2!) It's now one of my favorite mods on my GD3.. so much so I can't believe I didn't install a short shift kit sooner. It would have been worth it at the regular price.
I didn't have to disassemble the shifter. I simply unbolted it and turned it on it's side after loosening the driver side shift cable. The plastic bushing on the end of the shifter gave me the most trouble until I figured out that wedging a flathead screwdriver against the bushing and leveraging against the rear of the shifter assembly will make it pop out without much effort. I used more effort popping the bushing back onto the skunk2 extension. I pre-threaded the hex set screws and applied loctite before I pushed extension back onto the shifter. With the right allen wrench, I did not find tightening the set screws difficult.
The throws are shorter and feels great..very positive. The metal bushings also raised the stock shift assembly by about .5", which means the shift lever is higher which personally, I found a bonus. In the Fit, I prefer the shift lever a bit higher...closer to the wheel. I know others like it shorter as can be found on the Mugen SS.
Highly recommended !
