And are the remote terminals so you don't have to pull the bumper to jump it?

I wanted the battery out of the engine bay and out of sight. Also, I did not want to have it in the trunk since I actually use my trunk. I remembered seeing a friend put his battery there on his civic back in the day so I wanted to see if it would fit behind my bumper. Sure enough, there was just barely enough room.

That is correct! Could you imagine having to take off your bumper just to jump your car each time? That would be such a headache!

Luckily, the GD bumpers come with two tiny holes already in the bottom grill so I just used those.

on topic: My endless rotors finally are being shipped to me. Should get them next week on Wednesday. I also ordered new motor mounts and transmission mounts. Additionally, I picked up a new serpentine belt since I just hit 100k miles. Once I get all that installed, I'll have to get my valves adjusted. Busy couple of weeks coming up!

Replaced drive belt and idler pulley. Noisy pulley made me do it. Good thing too, drive belt was split in half. 20$ repair at 190 km...not bad ..lol

Cleaned the engine bay so that everything looked nicer.

Finally got my endless rotors delivered today!

I also got some HIDs today from my friend for Xmas. Since my headlights aren't retrofitted, I'll prob have to angle the headlights down.

I really like the battery relocate. I'm in the market for a new battery and would like something bigger. Was there any factory bolt holes there to mount the battery bracket to?

When I upgraded to the Interstate megatron 51R battery, I just took out the stock plastic base and dropped the thing in there. It was a perfect fit!

side note: I tried to install the HIDs my friend got me but they both didn't work. Guess it wasn't meant to be. Oh well.

Got my valves adjusted, thanks to my buddy David.
Endless rotors installed and did a brake fluid flush with Endless brake fluid.
New motor/transmission mounts installed.
New serpentine belt installed.

Car feels solid now!

EDIT: Ordered a new cabin air filter as well as a new tire.

I grinded the gears when I shifted from first to second today. Usually it only happens in front of pretty girls, but today it seems it was just for funsies as there were no pretty girls in sight.

Finally got around to fixing this knocking noise that occurred whenever I did sharp turns or went over harsh bumps. All I had to do was tighten the driver's side endlink that attaches to the strut. Also put in my scan gauge 2 so time to have fun with that.

Adjusted the valves today since the weather was nice. ALl but one exhaust valve was out of spec for cylinder 1... the two intake valves for cylinder 2's were in spec, all of the others needed to be adjusted.

Excuse the winter wheels. The endless rotors that I have are blank but the middle is super blue. The pads are also ridiculously blue. They feel great too!

Are they worth the big price tag? Prob not, but I really like endless so that's why I went with them.

EDIT: I changed out my cabin air filter and replaced my windshield wipers today. Instead of the usual rain-x, I got Trico Onyx. I'm impressed by how nice they look! They even claim that they are aerodynamic!

Saturday afternoon...
07 Sport, 205k ish miles

Used the GFs Fit to haul my snowblower to work for its annual "make it run again" ritual, and putter around the shop with the car a while to earn some dinner.

51R battery installed: removed fusebox bracket and smashed it almost flat to move the box over to make more room so the battery doesn't rub on the stock air box. It was a little too close for my liking otherwise.

Windshield treatment (crystal fusion)

Engine air filter....

3000 on the oil change but the MM said 50% so I left it alone. Level perfect, color still good.

While driving it to work to do the above, I noticed it was chugging at a couple stoplights and when I got to my driveway to load the snowblower it was stinking of sulfur (upon questioning, the usual driver said she had not noticed any of this)......so I replaced the AF sensor with a good used one from a CRV, and whipped up an adapter harness so it would plug in without modifying the sensor or original harness.

I did not spend a dime on it this time, thanks in part to my packrat/hoarder nature of saving parts that still have life left in them. Used battery, used air filter, windshield treatment was a freebie, and the sensor came from my stash of "known good" test parts in that one drawer of the toolbox.

New replacement tire mounted today. I also got my other tires balanced since it's been a while.

I love how quiet my ride is now... aside from my exhaust and intake...

Nice! I need an alignment so bad, i hear crazy tire noise. Toe has to be way off, but i need to dial in the height before that gets done.
