changed battery. tomorrow valve lash, im at 130000 kms i thinks its never been done. or only once in maintenance at 60000kms
idle is just under 1000 rpm. std tranny. mpg are not that good at 7,5/8 l/100km. semms there's no power. hope it will help

 

Awesome. I was wondering if I should glue it or screw it when I do mine.

 

valve lash is done... intake valve were all ok at 0.006'', the exhaust on the other hand were all too tight... 0.010'' would not go even with strength (lets say it was at 0.008.) So i adjusted everything back to spec. idle is smoother. power curve is better, not more flat at 5500+ rpm. goes all the way to the red line now. I'll try a VMAX some other day to confirm the car has picked up power.
butt dyno says yes. i chirped 2nd gear, and it never happened before...
inside of the engine was super clean, all in all i'm very happy.. took 1,5 total from air box removal to air box reinstall.

I got stuck with only one installed for a couple of days cause i ran out of daylight lol

 

After years of searching, I finally found my holy grail.



I plan on polishing it, installing titanium bolts, and then getting a new filter for it. Then I would like to relocate my battery so that this thing will fit.

installed my VLED 7440 Bulbs...I now have all LED bulbs for all my exterior lights.

 

Not today but recently
Added Megan exhaust, rear bumper appliqué, and some stickers

Also got white wheels

I just bought a Gen 1 FS. I went over it, replaced a couple of bulbs, noticed a crackle in one of the front speakers, and a crack in one of the fog lamp lenses.

I am sure I will have a lot of upcoming questions, but if anybody knows of a place to get a few parts, like:
1. Front OEM speakers,
2. Front Air Dam
3. Fog light lens

That would get me started. PO did some very lazy and stupid things with pass side skirt and front bumper cover. Things that make you cringe when you look at them... Gotta get to fixing them.

Edit: I am also looking at mods to do to my car, if there are any "standard" mods that make it perform better, or fix some known problem. (I had a '92 Eagle Talon TSi, for example... Tons of small mods that can be done to help improve airflow, and keep throttle body clean... )

If there is such a site for those kinds of mods, I'd appreciate being pointed to it.

DeepH2o - Rockauto.com is a good source for stock parts. They don't carry audio but an upgrade would be worth it if you are already taking the door apart crutchfield.com is one of the better ones to make sure you buy speakers that fit.

 

It sounds really good, its all stock piping and i left the resonator on so its only loud when i get on it. I don't know how to upload a vid though my bad, are you on facebook?

 

This set up for wheels is so perfect, What wheels are these? its hard to find that offset in 16's. i like when you had it like this
