Nice work. Would you happen to have any pictures of the Progress rear sway bar installed?

Adds a decent drop to your Fit. My HSD coilovers are just a tad lower than you. Handles great though. How do you enjoy the springs?

Thanks, I'm going to take some better pictures today so I'll be sure to take a couple of the sway bar and post them here for you

I love the look but haven't been able to take it out for a drive yet. The rear drivers side shock bolt has seized into the bushing so I need to grind it out and get a new bolt to put the new shock in. I'm also running no end links at the moment due to one of them seizing to the old shocks haha. Gotta love Canada

To be honest it's kind of hard to tell for me. This was my last available bolt-on for my Fit. When I retune the car that will be the final factor. But all and all i'm happy with them.

Pulled out the receipt from when I bought my fit. It was dated may 20th 2014 so almost exactly a year.

Here is the first pic I took after getting it home and spending the weekend detailing it.

First thing I added was the blue leds for the cup holders and changed the shift knob for a blue glow in the dark one.

And now a year later and 45400 more km down the road.

2008 Base fit with 116000km. Today I got the guts to finally do the Valve Clearance adjustment. I also changed the spark plugs out with the same EOM NGK iridiums, and cleaned out my coil packs by disassembling them and using sand paper, contact cleaner and dielectric grease.

The intake valves were on spec at around 0.006... but the exhaust valves were SO TIGHT... all of them around 0.008 instead of the recommended 0.010 to 0.012. I put them at 0.011. I'm glad I did it, maybe my car will run better?...

However there was one huge problem: While reinstalling the Cylinder Head Cover, I stripped the bottom left bolt. I don't have a torque wrench and just went a bit too strong... now it just turns without gripping into the bottom part. Don't really know what I should do, right now I just stopped the job until I can figure it out so my car is obviously not working. This is the bolt here

This is what it looks like underneath

I just posted a thread on it here
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gene...ead-cover.html

If you guys have any advice I'd love to hear it.
Thanks

Whoa I would have to be careful about that. Where did you find the information to do the valve adjustment?
I might do it when mine hits 100,000 miles.

I finally ordered the JDM center console with armrest. And I can't believe it's been almost TWO YEARS since I last logged-on.

I think it was the difficulty of how well the site worked with my older version of IE. Now that I'm on firefox, the results are better.

Anyway, I have a lot of catching-up to do. Still have my Fit. And the way I look at it is other people buy new cars. I'll just buy parts and continue to customize.

Where did you purchase the console at and how much was it?

A&J Racing :: Interior :: JDM Parts :: JDM Honda Armrest Console - Honda Fit 06-08 (GD3/GD4)

AJ still has it in stock. I haven't heard back from them yet with a shipping quote. I don't know if it can be found cheaper. I know there is a thread on this site with a ton of online parts dealers, so someone might have a better price, but I figured I'd go with AJ's. They've always been a good friend of FF [at least I hope they still are! I've been away for way too long.].

Do these pulleys require different belts? Or the oem fit fine?

My personal favorite is the brushed finish. Where did you buy your mirror finish?

Replaced sparks and 2 coil packs

Over the last week or two I started getting the dreaded stutter missing symptom though it wasn't throwing a code.

Decided to replace the plugs and coil packs #1 & 3 came apart while removing them. so had to go out and get 2 of the bloody things at retail prices. Ugh.

Everything replaced and the car is running like it should.
