Not yet. We had +40's that stuck out just a tiny bit more and they rubbed some. I'm hoping these +42's solve that, but I don't know yet. Been driving it and no rub yet, but haven't hit any BIG bumps yet.

this is a 15” x 6.5”, 40mm offset (Konig helium) not a great pic to show fitment - it did rub the fender liner, until I bend the mounting tabs up more, for just a lil bit of space. It will still rub under heavy compression but it’s fine for the spirited everyday driving I do.

Thanks! Been wanting to do it forever. This thread is a good read for the rear disc conversion - https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...onversion.html

I see he mentions a lot of Integra parts. We didn't get the Integra in South Africa. Will any civic bits work cause we got loads of civics at scrap yards.

I used rear calipers sourced from a 2002 - 2006 Acura RSX or a 2002 - 2005 Civic Si. Rotors from the 2002 - 2005 Civic Si.

Fasbrakes makes the parking brake cable adapters, brake lines, and adapter mounts needed.

We didn't get any Si's here either. In fact Ive never seen an Si in SA. So it's either import for me. Or see what is lying around the boneyards. Nice to see Mini fronts fit though. We have plenty of minis rolling around so that shouldnt be an issue.

Due to the age of the cars involved, I don't think salvage yards will be of much help. I would not want any brake parts off of a 15 year old vehicle in a junk yard on my car. You're probably best off with importing the parts new/rebuilt or just sticking with factory replacements.

There were GD Fit's in Japan that came with rear disc brakes. Some do the swap by importing the entire rear beam assembly. Probably easiest, but doubt it's cheap.

I threw out the spare wheel today. Weight reduction BRO! now to find myself one of those "tire repair in a can" things so that I have a back up in the event of a flat. Although I haven't had a flat in 5 years..... Touch wood.

Worked on the Silver Fit yesterday. Had some friends come over to help with a quick engine swap. Just OEM. The old engine will be going into the Pink Fit and soon will be revived after 5 years of not being driven.

Is that factory paint? That has to be the shiniest fit ‘be seen! Currently doing a Nardo Grey respray. Hoping it will look half as good as this.
