Brought my gd3 back from the dead after sitting with a hole in the oil pan and cracked Axel. (3 years ago) all happened because Houston roads are so messed up! Feels good to be back!

corrected some dumbass's mistake

Rather than wait the .3 seconds it would have taken to let me parallel park, some genius in a grand Cherokee decides to go into the oncoming lane of traffic to overtake me but misjudged her maneuver and scrapes my front bumper. Don't want to claim on insurance because I have to claim for my rear bumper. I've order a new spacer which I'll have to replace because some of the clips inside are broken. Approx 35$ part.

Got my car on rhino ramps for easier access to the valence, used the two bucket wash technique, clayed some of the paint transfer, compounded most of the edges by hand with ultimate compound and then buffed the other parts with my Porter Cable and a cutting pad.

Sealed with the Klasse twins and used some touch up paint on some areas. The bumper fitment isn't perfect until I change the spacer.

Finally found out why my gas mileage was crappy.

My bud checked out my spark plugs to see there was any oil on them but luckily there wasn't but when I switched to NGK spark plugs he measured them and the ones installed before were 1CM shorter then the NGK ones!

WTH!

Previc93 finally finished the turbo install on my Fit. It took 1.5 (I was the .5 part of that) guys about 12 hours from jacking it up to lowering it and taking it for a test drive. No leaks! But no boosty-boost for me yet because I have to wait until Thursday to get the new clutch installed to handle all the power that will come after getting it tuned.

Did an oil change with Honda Synthetic blend 5w-20 motor oil and a Mobil 1 oil filter. Its the first time I'm trying some sort of synthetic oil. Last time I changed the oil was July 5th of last year! I only put 2,500 miles on it since then.

@DWils, That's awesome you got a Turbo installed. You must be hyped to get it going.

Thanks! I should have bought it a year ago, but didn't. And yes, I'm super-excited, just not excited at all the maintenance and stuff breaking from the extra 60+whp. As I told Previc, I have reached the point of no return with my car. I am going to drive it forever until one or more of the following happens: 1. I wreck it, 2. The engine gets blowed up, 3. I'm spending too much (ambiguous now, but eventually will be defined) to fix things that break, or 4. I get an insane offer from someone to buy it. No way I can part out all the stuff I've done to it.

I told him his engine rocks a ton. That new clutch with how it grabs aggressive may mess up the mounts even faster.... like he said he is this far in can't turn back now!

So does that mean you are going with a kswap previc93?

If you have a spare l15a I would love to take the head and cam off your hands.

I am but I'm not going to separate the engine. Whoever takes it it's going to be the whole thing. But it will probably be 3 to 6 months till I get rid of it.

I am building mine NA as well, until the engine gives in. Given that a Honda engine lasts almost forever with proper care, by that time I hope K-swaps are cheap.
