Someone want to do me a favor and take a picture of their rear upper spring perch?
I am thinking my coil overs need to go if I plan on driving this in the winter. I commute 250kms round trip over a mountain pass a couple times a week and my 3" clearance probably wont cut it...
I can order struts and can get my hands on stock springs but I am concerned about the rear perch as I currently have the threaded ones.

Before y'all say I am a moron for buying a lowered car for this drive I also have a 2010 Flex AWD and a '97 Sierra 4x4. The fit is for fuel economy and I wont take it if I know the weather will suck. But it can sneak up on you.

why not just thread down your spring perch making the car have a taller ride height rather then getting stock springs and new struts?

if you go back to stock you will need and upper and lower rubber spring mounts

52691-SAA-000 is the upper rubber mount
52748-SLN-A01 is the lower rubber mount

DeepH2o - Rockauto.com is a good source for stock parts. They don't carry audio but an upgrade would be worth it if you are already taking the door apart crutchfield.com is one of the better ones to make sure you buy speakers that fit.
I've taken doors apart on a bunch of different cars, but this one is the least-obvious. I only see one screw, and possibly a couple tabs. Is there a guide to taking apart the door on this site?

In the last 2 weeks I've:
Cleaned intake filter
Replaced cabin air filter
Rotated tires
Replaced engine oil/filter
Replaced MTF
Replaced clutch fluid
Replaced brake fluid
Replaced radiator fluid

Did some other stuff too:
Replaced a few broken/missing push-clips
Patched up some holes in the front fender liner (using tape haha)
Reapplied heat tape at the tailpipe.

I also washed the car (which hasn't been done in like 6-8 months) and had someone repair a crack in my exhaust. Also got an extra hanger welded on to tuck the exhaust up higher and better stabilize it.

My car's still beat up but I still love it. I'll probably adjust the valves sometime next month.

Nice grill! I think the J's racing grill is the best alternative to the stock USDM one.

I ordered some Endless Basic rotors from Japan. Apparently they aren't popular so no one carries them in the States. Wait time.... 4-5 weeks. Damn.

I bought it from a local shop who had it from a previous customer. Brand new in box and I got it for a deal at $160.

I had to jump on it at that price. I always wanted one but didn't want to pay upwards of $300 haha.

Undercoated the car, changed the oil, found some more weight to remove. Snowed for the first time today, ugh.
