Well I figured it's starting to cool down a bit and I might as well get to working on the fit. Towed it to my work so on my down time I can get stuff done. So much easier when you have a lift and tools and space.

I road race it.... just have to get it prepped and ready for the cage and then kswap. The swap might take a bit but the cage will be done in a couple months.
Swapping out my stock piping and Tanabe concept g axle back for a weapon r race header and DC sports catback. Should be much louder, hope I don't get divorced.
Tanabe is for sale if interested. Here is the before clip. I'll do one after the new exhaust is on.
Changed oil last night and bought a new crush washer as I had a small drip from the drain nut. To my surprise the nut wasn't even tight... Got some solid Karma to not lose that over a bump in the past several months.
On another note anyone got stock springs they want to sell?
As the vid starts out the "Wheel Well" host really thinks J's Fit is kinda a no respect ride but at the end of the vid he's truly impressed with all the bst Jason has put into this Lil Fit.
A few days ago there was huge rainstorm here. Well, huge for Arizona. And of course the road by my house flooded and of course I was driving the Fit. "No worries," I thought, "I don't have the AEM cold air intake anymore because I bought Previc's turbo kit with the intake that is way higher in the engine bay and won't hydrolock it." And I busted through the flooded road, but driving really slow. Because that's what Arizonans do when it rains. Freak out and drive really slow. So fast-forward 30 minutes and I finally pull into the parking lot at work and hear a scraping noise. "What?" I thought, "I know I'm lowered, but I'm not THAT low!" I park and look under the car to find out what I'm dragging on. And I find that the splash guard is hanging down because it was only being held on by like four clips. So I poach the three clips on top of the bumper and of course, one was broken. I clipped the splash guard in with the two good clips and call it a day.
Later, I did some research and the best I could gather 91503-SZ3-003 was the part number for the clips I lost a butt-ton of. Honda MSRP is $3.72USD and my local Honda dealership internet parts site has them for $2.63USD. A piece. Going back to how I need a butt-ton of these things, I do the math and butt-ton multiplied by $2.63USD is too expensive. So I go to Amazon. A few minutes later I'm checking out with a pack of 80 (overkill, I know, but whatever) for... wait for it... waaaait for it... $7.99USD. $7.99USD! Shipping was like $6USD (way too much because I know it doesn't cost that much to ship 80), but I pay it anyway. But before I clicked the "Buy now" button, I checked on same-day shipping. Like $9USD. Long story even longer, I ended up splurging and getting the same-day shipping. Even better, I placed the order at about 3am local time and by 10am I had a package at my door.
Then the next day I popped out the few remaining stock clips and replaced them with the new ones and made sure that every clip hole had a clip in it. Well, every hole under the bumper. I still have to tackle the ones in the splash guard behind the wheels. Sucks, because I rotated my tires last week, before I bought the clips or I could have rotated and clipped at the same time. Oh well.
oil change last last Tuesday, replaced the brake pads and put in slotted and drilled rotors last Saturday.
Car wash today for a car meet later on today
