Switched out my golden yellow fog light vinal to a lamin_x tint. The first set of golden yellow was great, but burnt out in bout six months. Only because they are always on. So, I replaced them from same guy, but this time they came as a different color? Not golden, actually more of a green. So replaced with lamin-x. Much better now. Thicker film also.
Should be able to post new pics of garnish on car tonight when I get home.

As requested first two shots are of my painted garnish on car.

^^^ It looks great installed. Sand original with 400 grit, clean with wax and tar remover from auto zone, do several light coats of primer sealer, sand again with 400 grit, clean again with wax and tar remover, paint black several light coats and final coat semi wet. Done.
As you know im not a fan of carbon. I think its played out. Got the idea of paint from the GE fits. On GE this is stock, and the only part I like about them. So i decided to paint mine.
Good luck to you, and take your time for amazing results.

i used that website you linked me to get sand paper + tacky rag + solution to make sure everything comes out good

i'm going to re-do my lip orange to match the car too, but that'll take a long while to get done

These are some great looking GD's guys! I really like the Red on Black interior work!

Any chance you are going to swap out the grey portions of the seats for red?

Bthasht, looks sick!

Normally would never have occurred to me to work over something like the hatch trim, but you guys are doing a nice job!

And the white sport wheels really look sharp with that bold red!

I drove 500 miles to the southwest of Louisiana and back...BtrThnezr3 is to blame for it... Her cool as hell daddy had to get rid of his Border Collie- Blue Healer mix and I have him in my living room in a crate.... I've handled Great Danes and Saint Bernards that I thought were strong but this guy is right up there with them but hyper and quick.... He likes riding in the Fit.

Thanx for all the comments.
Big mike yes that is the old dock. Tcc campus off college drive. Had to off road to get the shot with the tree, but was worth it.
Ryan engine cover is not wrinkle like jdm. It is milano red with a gold dust then cleared thick. I did no sanding to keep stock look. Paint comes from same website as before.
Kenmei good luck to you on painting lip will look incredible.

My fit is my anti drug.

Nothing beats a new side-kick, glad to hear. Hyper and quick makes 'em great in the agility comps. I know a lady who has three in a small single bedroom apt in a small up-state city. It's both hands on the coffee cup and face to the wall and forget about doughnuts. I will say she's quite capable of control, however. Those pups beg to behave for her and her alone. Looking at Pat you would never assume she had it in her - come to think of it looking at the dogs you'd think the same once you saw them doing what they do best. If only she had sheep... you're pup might very well take a shining to herding the Fit...
