Undertray SEVERELY Damaged

The title says it all. I don't know why it's like this but it is currently zip-tied to the front bumper for the most part. The middle part is hanging down and whenever I put it in reverse, it sounds like a fan is hitting something. The plastic towards the front is shredded, as is the plastic near the wheels. I need to get this replaced, but someone told me that a dealership might charge me $500! I can't find anywhere to buy one online except for this:

Performance Race Engineering

Should I spend the money on this kind of product? I'm really confused and frustrated...

The stock front splash shield is a $40 part online. Probably $55 from a dealer, but they'll pay for shipping. Should only be a half hour tops to replace it, but probably more like 10 minutes.

The Beatrush underpanel you found is a nice part, although it's kind of a pain to bolt up because the stock hardware sucks. You'll need to remove it to get access to any part of the underside of the engine (like changing the oil). But it improves highway stability by a lot, and everyone I've read who's gotten one reports 2-3 better highway mpg as well.

So I should just go to the dealership then?

Get a quote, at least. See if it's worth the hassle.

But with a good jack & jackstands, this is a super easy remove & replace job. Just take a look beforehand and make sure it's only the one part that you need - and it's also worth have a few extra push clips on hand in case the originals have broken (or break while trying to remove them).

I had to replace both front underbody panels and the total job took fifteen minutes using ramps. There are only 4 or 6 screws and the rest is pushpins. Check Bernardi for prices on the panel and eBay for the pushpins.

Dealership wants to charge WAY too much. Altogether it would be close to $400.

Well I couldn't find anything there, maybe I just don't know what I'm looking for. This is the only thing I've found anywhere:

If a dealer is quoting $400, then they're either extremely shady, or there's something else screwed up than just that one undertray. Got any pictures of exactly what's wrong?

Try taking the whole splash shield off and test drive it if you will hear any noise going forward and reverse.

Freakin' Hondas with their long overhangs, ultra-low bumpers, and soft-underparts!

(Had the same thing happen to my Accord and Civic... Didn't think about it at all during the seven years I had trucks and SUVs... and with the truck in particular, with an extended cab, I got into the habit of pulling far forward in the space, until my tires bumped the curb/concrete stop. Now, old habits die hard, and back to the awful grinding and scraping sound from the front bumper.)

To test if the above statement will be resolve. One less thing to worry about. No $400 bill and he'll just need to replace the splash guard.

I can get some pics if you want. Well it was a little more than just the central piece, it was also the side pieces. Each piece was around $70 and installation was $50...for EACH. Not including the pushpins, which were like $3 each.

I already ordered a splash shield, it was the one I posted the link to in my last post.
