LOW beam light doesn't turn on (found BIG issue - fire hazzard) -UPDATED

Update:

I looked at the connection, it looks like either the wire or connection wasn't built to support the power coming in.
I'm not sure what to do as a temporary solution. Perhaps some connection grease???

My original post

I bought a used 07 honda fit. On day 2 I turn the car on, flip the headlight switch all the signal light turns on. I check the rear lights also and they were off. I turn the headlight switch off and on...same issue, I did this a few times within 45 seconds.

I was thinking a fuse must of blown. Wait a few minutes (car never moved, nor did I touch anything), tried again and everything turns on except left yellow (mid light).

I goto wash the car and turn the switch on again, now EVERY Light turns on.

I'm lost.

BTW THE HIGHBEAM ALWAYS WORKED...

After some research this is a KNOWN ISSUE, which honda has yet to recall. This is dangerous considering the lights shutting off @ night on the highway.

There's a recall for the early 2002 civics for the exact issue.
2002 Honda CIVIC Recall ID from NHTSA: 04V086000
Auto Recall Date: 02/24/2004
Vehicle Component: EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS
Estimated Vehicles Affected: 440000
2002 HONDA CIVIC Defect Summary:
ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, THE LOW-BEAM TERMINAL ON THE HEAD LIGHT WIRE HARNESS CAN OVERHEAT AND COULD CAUSE THE LOW BEAMS TO FAIL WITHOUT WARNING.
Defect Consequence:
AN UNEXPECTED LOSS OF LOW BEAMS COULD RESULT IN A CRASH.
Remedy:
DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE HEAD LIGHT SWITCH AND COUPLER FOR SIGNS OF HEAT DAMAGE. IF HEAT DAMAGE IS PRESENT, THE DEALER WILL REPLACE THE SWITCH AND COUPLER. IF NO HEAT DAMAGE IS PRESENT, THE DEALER WILL REPLACE THE HEAD LIGHT SWITCH AND ONE MATING PIN IN THE COUPLER. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN ON APRIL 5, 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT HONDA AT 1-800-999-1009.
Notes: HONDA (AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO.), P23

Today it happened to me. During a long time driving I felt something like burn plastic. I turned the lights OFF and from that moment I can't turn the headlights ON. Only parking light and high beam are working...
I disconnected the connector under steering column cover and found this.
