I think you're better off with HID bulbs. I'd trade my foglights in for them. I'm not bad mouthing foglights but HID's are probably more useful.

Even better than that, put HIDs in the foglights! I did this with my stock USDM foglights and it makes a HUGE difference in night time driving.

hmmm, thing is... with the HID, if it's too bright.. the LED's in my headlights wont be as impressive , im going to (havent yet) try the led's inside the headlights as daytime running lights. So u can see the dilemma if i HID my bulbs, it will lessen the importance of the LEDs. lol thats why im wondering wheter foglights are worth getting or not?

I was thinking about doing that too. How tough is the installation?

Couldn't be easier Jensen. It is easiest to mount the ballasts if you remove the front bumper, but i didn't with mine. I'm used to working blind in small spaces, so I double sided taped mine to the crash bar through the fog light hole in the bumper. The plug and play HID kits are just that, and in the foglights they really work wonders. And the best part is they are meant to be aimed low so you aren't blinding oncoming traffic, which is the big argument against HID in the first place. I ran mine with Silverstars in the headlights for almost a year before the retrofit bug got me. To the OP, screw the LEDs get a set of Atticusfits Halos! Those are bad-ass!!

I plan on doing this myself to my foglights once XenonLights gets the new LUX Hid kits and then swap out the foglights with the H11 Hid kit.

for asthetics the fog lamps do make the car look nice, especially with the bezel painted matte black.

but not really needed. i dont use it much.
